My journey into firearms instruction wasn't just a career choice; it was a calling. While my oath at 16 to protect the Constitution in the Army played a role, my true inspiration comes from recognizing the need for a more comprehensive approach to firearms training. I believe God has led me to this path, understanding that traditional training often focuses solely on target shooting—aiming, sight alignment, and stance. While these are crucial, I felt there was a significant gap in addressing situational awareness, avoidance, de-escalation, and other essential aspects of self-defense.
